I have a client with the same situation. I think the problem is not with the CD player, but the DSP board that controls the CD. The other reason for thinking in this direction is that the unit had a LOT of trouble with the update program. Unfortunately, we have had trouble scheduling the repair so I don't know if this works or not. I suggest you call your Disklavier technician and explore this possibility.
