Any harm in running the calibration routine by yourself?

I know how to get into the maint mode of my DC3A.  I have seen my 
tech run the callibration routine several times.  Is there any harm 
in me doing this myself?  Besides "you should not do this if you are 
not a Yamaha tech, etc."....  Thanks.
