I too downloaded a e-Competition ZIP files and discovered that I 
could not unzip them on my computer running WinXP.

From what I can determine, the ZIP files are NOT compatible with the 
default WinXP ZIP utility.  Although the downloaded file size 
suggests that ZIP data is present, launching the WinXP ZIP/UnZIP 
utility results in NO files being presented for extraction for some 
unknown reason.

As a test, I copied an e-Competition ZIP file to diskette and tried 
it on another WinXP computer that was set up to use WinZIP as the 
default.  Everything worked fine.

Thus, based on my experience, it appears that a compatibility 
problem exists unzipping the files using the default WinXP (Home 
Edition and/or Professional) ZIP utility.  I suggest that anyone 
running WinXP and encountering difficulty unzipping the files can 
solve this problem by installing WinZIP, Stuffit, etc.
