If your Windows XP hasn't been patched for quite some time, it is possible that its "compressed folders" feature still works with folder names containing commas. The problem apparently came out along with Hotfix 329048 (you can verify if you have it by going to Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs, but don't ask me what it was supposed to fix), which was a critical update and Windows XP by default would have downloaded it automatically then prompted the user to install it. Here is the documentation but apparently MS hasn't come out with a fix (or shall I say un-fix) stable enough for public release: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;[LN];813942 CCW At 02:25 PM 2/9/2004, you wrote: >Good afternoon, everyone. > >I appreciate your comments, CCW, but I don't understand the problem.
