Judy,
What operating system (OS) are you running on your computer? If you're running XP, you're out of luck as XP doesn't provide support for formatting 720 KB diskettes.

You can easily make double density disks on a windows PC from 2HD disks. Format 2HD disks at the 720Kb size. The standard format is 1.44mb. Just change the 1.44mb to 720Kb and format. I wasted my time doing this for my MX100 IIXG and then learned that I could use 1.44mb disks.
