Piano Bench may well be correct about that. I made my measurements on a Mark II and made the possibly incorrect assumption that the Mark III's volume control and velocity characteristics were the same. I apologize for not stating that. Unfortunately, Yamaha is totally mute about such matters. You pretty much have to make your own investigations to find out.
