Disklavier

I have a question about my DGT7 which I understand is
not a widely used model.  We really enjoy the
instrument but I have been concerned about the
mechanical noises it makes when the key movement is on
and we are using the Disklavier function.  During
softer passage or when the volume is turned down (my
living room is not that large) you can clealy here the
keys being moved.  Is this normal?  I know I can turn
the key movement off but guests always like to see it
playing.  You don't hear these noises when playing the
instrument as a conventional piano.  Is there anyway
to decrease the noise level during playback?

I asked a local Yamaha tech but he had never worked on
a DGT7 and wasn't very helpful.  Thank you very much
for your assistance!
