Hello Todd, It is possible to use the digital sounds in a silent system acoustic (most modern disklaviers) just the same as on a GranTouch. I can have key movement on or off and use the digital piano sound if I like with my Mark IIXG MPX1Z. I agree that the digital option is great if you want piano music and the piano is too close to everyone during a meal as it is in my house :( Regards, James
