I own that exact "Smooth Jazz" Pianodisc CD that you referenced, and
I can confirm that it plays fine on my Mark III Disklavier.

Another of my favorite Pianodisc CDs that plays fine on the
Disklavier is Freddie Ravel's "Sunny Side Up"
(http://www.pianodisc.com/emusic/choose_item.asp?
ref_no=208&category=Live/Orchestrated)

(Freddie also has an excellent Yamaha PianoSoft disc, "Hot Latin
Nights".)

Note, however, that Brian Culbertson's Pianodisc CD
(http://www.pianodisc.com/emusic/choose_item.asp?
ref_no=303&category=Live/Orchestrated) will not play correctly on
the Disklavier, the piano seems to be playing only the rhythm track
or some sort of control signals. I don't know the technical reasons
for it but apparently there are a few PianoDisc CDs that may be a
problem.
