Thanks Mark, I'll look into that too.... My instructor had suggested
Protools to loop the track once I found one, thank you for the other
suggestions. I know once I have something that is even close to what he
uses I'll be set. I think I'm going to check out the link for drum patterns
before I invest in a software program, although that might be helpful in the
future should I get better at Jazz Improvisation!

Try the MIDI files located here:
http://media.afromix.org/music/midi/drum_patterns/
You'll need to use some sequencing software like Powertracks Pro or
Cakewalk to loop the clips, but maybe this will get you started.
You can find more files like these by doing a Google search for
"MIDI drum patterns".
