Re: [disklavier] Recording piano playing w/DC1A...

2005-07-26 by George F. Litterst

Good afternoon, everyone.

RW, you can still find Mark III info at the Yamaha web site:

www.yamaha.com

If you navigate into the piano area, you'll eventually get to the
Disklavier section where you can find all of the specs and pictures
of current models (Mark IV grands and Mark III uprights).

To find older models, click the Search button in the top area of the
Yamaha web pages. Check the box to include "archived content" in your
search. Then, put in a known model number, such as:

DC3

A few hits will come up. When you click on one of them, not only will
you go to that particular page, but you will see a host of other
sizes in that same product category listed on the left side of the
window.

Searching for DC3 will get you older, full-featured grands. Searching
for:

MX100II

will help you locate older upright models.

Searching for:

DGP1

will help you locate older playback only grands.

Searching for:

DC3Pro

will help you locate older Pro model grands.

Unfortunately, I don't know of any way to get to a comprehensive
listing of all older Disklaviers.

Regards,
PianoBench
