Disklavier

Recently I decided to move a number of MIDI files from my desktop computer by burning them to a CD. Since a good number of them contained piano as primary instrument, I stuck the CD into my Mark III Disklavier but it doesn't seem to recognize anything. I thought it should read CD's as well as floppys regarding MIDI files. The files will play fine using the CD with my laptop hooked to the Disklavier but I would like to be able to just stick the CD into the piano and select songs. Any suggestions?
