I need help. I am getting conflicting information and need a definitive answer with instructions. Have received conflicting information from several Yamaha Tech supports. My objective: Upgrade current Piano/Disklavier to current technology defined as being able to play any and all software Yamaha produces for the Disklavier. PianoSoft Solo, PianoSoft Plus, PianoSoft Plus XG, PianoSoft Audio CD, and the Smart PianoSoft software. I have purchased a Yamaha DCD1+PS CD drive. I have purchased a Yamaha MU2000EX Tone Generator. I want to know if the DSR1 module is the ONLY missing component, where to get a good price on one, and how to hook ALL of this equipment up to each other so I don't destroy any of my investments. The DKC100R has: a 720k floppy drive, Midi In, Midi Out, and separate cable to the piano. The DCD1+PS has: Midi In, Midi Out, Analog R+L Midi In (RCA Type), along with 4 Phono size plug-ins - (R OUTPUT L/L+R) and (R AUX IN L/L+R), Volume control, and a selector switch for Dkv/GT10/GT1/Clarinova (set to Dkv for my application I assume). The MU2000EX has: Midi Thru, Midi Out, Midi In-A, Midi In-B, Host Select switch (MIDI/PC-2/Mac/USB), To Host (8 pin conn), RCA Output L+R, RCA Input L+R, Digital Output (Fiber Optic, and a USB port (similar to a printer plug in). I hope someone has the expertise to help and can provide a diagram/instructions. I'm confused at the conflicting information I've received from Yamaha as most technicians don't even know the equipment or upgradeability and compatibilities.
