Disklavier

My biggest gripe with my MX100 XG II has been volume. I finally bought a 
blanket to hang on the wall behind it. It muffles it horribly. At least 
it matches the decor of the room.  I was going to try accoustic ceiling 
tiles that are used in t-bar ceilings but have not since I expect it to 
still sound muffled. When I take down the blanket, the piano jumps to 
life. Too bad it is sooooo loud.
Home Depot has accoustic panels in 2 x 4 (ceiling tiles in the floor and 
wall dept) and 4 x 8 (sound insulation next to the wall thermal 
insulation)  They are cheap enough for a test.

If anybody finds or comes up with a program to convert existing files to 
lower velocity, I would be very interested.

btw   My only other gripe is the lack of music selection to play. My 
preference is along the style of Lorie Line. She is a Yamaha Artist but 
has not plans to record on a Disklavier.  I don't care what any 
audiophile says. An acoustic piano will alwayssound better that the best 
audio recording.
