Good evening, everyone. Terry, the .MNG files are text files. You can open them on a Windows computer in NotePad and on the Macintosh in TextEdit (or in similar text- or word-processors). When they are copied to a floppy disk along with the MIDI files, they enable the Disklavier to show a custom disk title as well as custom song titles. The "PDISK.MNG" file contains information about the version of the Disklavier that made the recording (I think) as well as the disk title. The "PSONG.MNG" file contains information about each file on the disk, including the song titles.
