Re: [disklavier] van Basco Player

Good evening, everyone.

I am not a VBKP user. However, I can point out the following:

You can set your Disklavier's Piano Receive channel to PRG. This will
result in the Disklavier playing all tracks that have a "piano group"
voice. A piano group voice is defined as any of the first 8 voices in
the General MIDI sound set. Most of the time (probably 95% of the
time), you will get the results that you want. Occasionally you will
encounter a file that has an extra piano track, an epiano track, or a
harpsichord track. With this setting, those tracks will also play on
the Disklavier.

To make any changes to your Mark III's Piano Receive channel:

--Press Function. Move the cursor to MIDI Setup and press Enter.
--In the MIDI Setup area, make sure the cursor is on Piano Part.
Press Enter.
--On the first Piano Part screen, use the +/- buttons to make changes
to the Piano Receive channel.

Regards,
PianoBench
