Good afternoon, everyone. Based on my limited experience with this issue, I believe the following to be true: When you bring up a MIDI file with lyrics, you can push the left or right arrow buttons on the Pocket Remote screen until you get to the Info screen. If it says that the song type is "Karaoke," then it has lyrics. I am not sure if there is another file type that might also be displayed with also has lyric information. Yamaha has not been publishing song files with lyrics for Disklavier. Yamaha has provided me with the recommendation that the best source of MIDI files with lyric content is the Tune 1000 series which is available from www.yamahamusicsoft.com. Unfortunately these MIDI files are not piano-centric and therefore most Disklavier users will probably find them to be disappointing for that reason.
