Hello Eli! Your posting probably got no replies because this group is about disklavier pianos and their owners, and not for clavinovas :-) That said, I would expect several people here to have both, so maybe you will eventually get a response if you keep repeating long enough :-) Have you investigated the mechanics of the pedal? The chances are something has worked loose or worn, and you could probably quite easily fix it (I had similar problems with a clavinova many years ago - there were a couple of adjustments to be made to the pedal mechanism and some wear on some of the casing. Padding this out and readjusting fixed the problem in about half an hour.
