I have had a word with the guy who wrote RootaRipper and here are 
his answers.

...I guess that's a "no" 

I suppose the "Browse for Folder" dialog should have a "Make New 
Folder" button. That might be easy - not sure.

Unfortunately, there is no volume label on the PianoDisk. Also, if I 
were to parse the pianodir.fil for the title, it would no longer be 
a "generic disk recovery tool" and I may be scrutinized legally.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
