The signal from your PRC-100 to the Disklavier can be affected by a
variety of other devices, such as other wireless networks, remote
alarm/central heating controls, cordless telephones etc. Even AWACS
share the same frequency band.
While you can't do much about passings AWACS, you could try to move any
other suspect devices further away from the piano. You can also change
channels on the Disklavier.
If you look at the I/O centre, you'll see a row of red LEDs on one
side. To the right of these are 2 banks of dip switches, labelled 0 to
7, from right to left (see picture in the photo section on yahoo
groups). Switches 4 & 5 set the wireless channel. The switches are OFF
in the down position, ON in the up position. the channels are as
follows :
Switches 4 & 5 OFF - channel 5
Switch 4 OFF, 5 ON - channel 1
Switch 4 ON, 5 OFF - channel 10
Switch 4 ON, 5 ON - channel 11.
