the palm device I use for the dislavier looses signal several feet away. Just wondering if this is normal? I do have wireless in the house, can that be interfering with it?

While you can't do much about passings AWACS, you could try to move any other suspect devices further away from the piano. You can also change channels on the Disklavier. If you look at the I/O centre, you'll see a row of red LEDs on one side. To the right of these are 2 banks of dip switches, labelled 0 to 7, from right to left (see picture in the photo section on yahoo groups). Switches 4 & 5 set the wireless channel. The switches are OFF in the down position, ON in the up position. the channels are as follows : Switches 4 & 5 OFF - channel 5 Switch 4 OFF, 5 ON - channel 1 Switch 4 ON, 5 OFF - channel 10 Switch 4 ON, 5 ON - channel 11.

variety of other devices, such as other wireless networks, remote
alarm/central heating controls, cordless telephones etc. Even AWACS

in the down position, ON in the up position. the channels are as
follows :
Switches 4 & 5 OFF - channel 5
Switch 4 OFF, 5 ON - channel 1
Switch 4 ON, 5 OFF - channel 10
Switch 4 ON, 5 ON - channel 11.

It is possible to change the channel and still have many different connection issues that need to be addressed - so it is necessary to check 4 other situations before changing the channel of the DKV. This information is not available in Europe. Any chance of finding out what the other 4 steps are?
