Thanks a lot for your message … to answer your questions:

Yes, my pocket controller appears to be working fine

(1) no, I do not see the new screens

(2) Yes, I purchased the recommended Buffalo equipment

I am trying tonight to reinstall v2.0 and I just came up with the same results again … the green light on the media center lights up steady bright green but the pocket controller still will not connect. Bummer … I am on piano withdrawl … I thought that this would be easy.

Freddy at Yamaha is very helpful and is taking me under his wing.

I'm sorry you had trouble with your upgrade, but sounds like your pocket controller does
work, right?

I installed v2.0 without a problem. I have a few questions for you:

(1) When you look at your pocket controller, do you see the new screens for "internet"
connection on the pocket controller?

(2) If so, are you using the recommended extra buffalo equipment to transmit the
wireless signal? It is my understanding you need these to be able to access wirelessly. I
am using a Macintosh and have not purchased the buffalo devices as yet.

(3) If you don't have the buffalo devices for wireless connectivity (one on your router
and one on the disklavier) then you can try connecting via ethernet cable from a
computer to the disklavier itself directly. This will let you try out the disklavier radio and
internet connection.

(4) You could also try out the feature of to/from folder wirelessly. This did work for me.
I was able to transfer midis to/from my computer to my disklavier harddrive folder
without a problem.

I have also seen in this forum, to retry the v 2.0 install again or call support and they
maybe able to walk you thru some of this.

Hope this helps.
Joan
