I have an original Airport Extreme base station as my main base  
station. Sorry to say I have no experience with the earlier base  
stations. As far as I know, WDS is the only way to set this up so  
that the Express will act as a bridge.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
