You sound like an expert (and you are! 
http://www.carolrpt.com/webguide.htm )  Maybe I will have some 
recordings done and forward them to you or others interested with 
acoustic disklaviers to get some opinions.

I work with some univeristy piano students who love playing my Gran 
Touch.  They tell me their only complaints are not being able 
to 'feel' the strings when they play, and the all too perfect sound 
of the samples.

The pedals do not move when playing recorded performances, I assume 
the recordings reflect the pedal action.  Am I correct?
