Hi,
I am looking to buy a new or used 5 foot or 6 foot Yamaha Grand with the Disklavire installed.
Where is the best place to buy and what kind of a discount can I expect?

Hi,
I wonder what is the typical discount that we usually can get from
Yamaha dealers in the USA. The first column is the official price from
Yamaha ad in the latest Piano Style Magazine. I converted the prices
using this rate US$ 1 = 120 YEN. The third column shows the price
that I could get (including sales tax + delivery). The MSRP YUS1 (new
U1) is $12K and C3 is 44.5K. Based on this, in general I can get about
40% discount of the US MSRP. We can get better price in California,
the market is much more competitive there. Please note that the
Japanese price shown below is just MSRP, therefore, expect additional
discount.
MSRP in Japan Dollar Price I could get
YUS1 675,700 5,631 7,600
C1 1,365,000 11,375
C2 1,575,000 13,125
C3 1,890,000 15,750 24,000
C5 2,100,000 17,500
C6 2,520,000 21,000
C7 2,940,000 24,500
