I haven't done this to verify it, but it seems that if you have a Mark IV that you have wireless capability to transfer files To and From your Mark IV to your hard drive on your PC. I have transferred midi files from my PC (Mac) to the Disklavier Mark IV using the To/From PC option. I have not transferred the midi files back to my Mac (PC), but you should be able to do this. If you don't have a floppy drive on your PC to use, this would be a reasonable solution to transferring that midi file that you recorded. It also seems reasonable to use iTunes either for the Mac or PC depending on the computer you have to burn a CD of this midi. You can move the midi into iTunes. Make a playlist and then burn the CD from iTunes. Be sure to make it an 'audio CD' when you burn it so that it will be playable in ordinary CD players. I have not verified that the midi does convert to audio using iTunes, but it seems that if you can import it into iTunes that you could do so. Hope this doesn't confuse the issue, but these thoughts occurred to me and since the ability to transfer midi via WIFI exists on your Mark IV, why not use it instead of using floppy drive. Also, why buy another program if iTunes is free and available on the Mac and PC. Worth trying as CD's are cheap these days and you could easily test to see if it works. If I get time I will test this theory and make a CD of some of my midis and burn a CD to play thru a CD player. I will post the results when I get the chance.
