Thanks a lot for your detailed suggestions, George. Don't exitate to ask for details, I'm asking for help and any step by step instructions will be useful for me and for other people that will read it. Yes, router works as DHCP host. It assigns IP. But the trouble is that I live in Europe and I can't get version 2.0. In this 1.1 there is no "Network" tab inside "Setup" I've used instead "network" from PRC-100 menu and then I edited and activated "Lan - TCP/IP" service. Then rebooted. Nothing new. To control IP addresses I use to select the WI-FI icon in the right-bottom part of the screen, that opens a little window that displays "connected..." and allows to re-connect or disconnect PRC. In the upper-right corner push "i" button and IP address will appear. My one is still 192.168.88.254 (very funny 88!! - just like the number of keys in a piano.....). So the question is: - it's possible to connect to a network with a 1.1 release? If not, why Yamaha reports in the 1.1 manual (page "i"): "NOTE ON THE ONLINE DOCUMENT - Additional licence information is included in the HDD in the Disklavier system. Connect the LAN port on the I/O Center to your network router, and then open the respective documents in the [Document] folder in the Disklavier's HDD" I wish to investigate for GPL/Gnu licensing about the Disklavier. What's reported in the 2.0 manual about Gpl issues and URL to dowload source code? Thanks in advance --- In disklavier@yahoogroups.com, "George F.
