Hi Midi IS Midi. But I would think you have a "Disk Orchestra Collection" disk. If this is so, then the Clavinova uses a DOC map which is NOT GM nor is it XG. If it is DOC then it has a SysEX command in it to tell the clavinova to use the DOC map and NOT a Midi map.
