Just curious: where do the tracks end up when you import a piano+audio
CD in a competitor's format?

Also, might it be possible to copy WAV or MP3 files directly to the
Disklavier's hard drive and then manually add them to the database using
a client like DKVBrowser?  (That is, trick the Disklavier into thinking
it has already imported them the normal way?)

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
