Disklavier

Is there a firmware upgrade necessary for the floppy and CD to sync?  
Right now, I can only get one or the other to play.  Are there 
instructions on how to do this?  Maybe I'm not starting them up 
correctly to sync.  My Disklavier MKIII Full Function manual doesn't 
mention Smart Pianosoft so maybe my disklavier doens't support Smart 
Pianosoft disks?  My DC2A has the DKC55RCD disklavier III unit (combo 
CD and floppy).

Other than this disappointment, the piano plays the other discs 
beatifully.
