Ah, that may be possible. I've never had an update on CD. My piano came with 2.0, and I updated to 2.10 directly via the internet connection and the remote.

I'm fairly certain there is a way to roll back to an older firmware revision. One time when we were having technical problems with the Disklavier at UCI, we thought it was because we were running a beta firmware and downgraded to the last stable release. I'm pretty sure all we did was put in the CD and floppy for the old version and performed the 'upgrade' process as normal.
