Re: [disklavier] Furniture suggestions?

2008-06-26 by Kevin Goroway

I suppose it wasn't taken private for the same reason that I posted it here in the first place.

The audience of this group consists primarily of people who own disklaviers. I couldn't think of a more appropriate group of people to ask for suggestions on furnishing a room when one chooses to add a computer to their piano. I don't think posting this question on, say, the piano forums "piano" group would make sense since most pianos can't have a computer connected to them in the first place...

There's also the possibility that someone else on this group, now, or in the future might be interested in the same question.

Another point...The description of this group is (taken directly from the yahoo groups page):

"Description
For owners of Yamaha Disklavier pianos to swap non-classical musical performance files in Midi & E-Seq formats."

Do you think that accurately describes the discussions of this group? Me neither. So who are you to decide what is appropriate here?

Lastly, in response to "If you do not know how to reply privately, how can you figure out how to
operate or play a Disklavier?" I say, if you know how to respond to the group, you certainly know how to delete an email that doesn't interest you...

Why have you not taken this thread private? It is not relevant to the
rest of us. I do not care about the problems with one small room and all
the problems it presents.

Remember, all of the e-mails have the original senders e-mail address.
If you do not know how to reply privately, how can you figure out how to
operate or play a Disklavier?

Enough already!!!
