Joan, Just read your note and went and tried it. It's working perfectly for me. (but I have the beta of 3.0, not the final release). Maybe it's broken in the final release? Can anyone confirm? -Kevin ----- Original Message ---- From: Joan Heitzeberg (Conahan) <jheitzeb1@...> To: disklavier@yahoogroups.com Sent: Sunday, August 17, 2008 12:50:34 PM Subject: [disklavier] V3.0 Setting Voice in Quiet/Headphone Mode on Mark IV One of the new features that we tested on our Mark IV using Version 3.0 software, appears not to work correctly. Details of problem: Using the Pocket Controller (or the new "Virtual PCR Interface" of the Disklavier software Version 3), I can no longer change the "voice" as described below (and on page 19 of the Yamaha "Quick Guide" for the Pro/Mark IV Series). It appears to be stuck on the "Grand Piano" sound. It has been quite a while since I used this feature so I do not know if it stopped working with Version 3.00 or a previous Disklavier software version. From page 19 of the disklavier Quick Guide: ============ ========= ========= ========= ========= ========= ========= ======= "Selecting the Voice in Quiet/Headphone Mode In Quiet Mode or Headphone mode, you can select the digital piano sound (voice) that expresses various instruments to your preference. 1. Tap on "Voice" in the Information Area. 2. Tap on the desired voice (e.g. Grand Piano, Bright Piano, ...Jazz Organ...Choir. ..AEM-Sax Section). 3. Tap on "Exit" to clear the [Voice] screen." ============ ========= ========= ========= ========= ========= ========= ======= Just wondering if this is a known problem, or if anyone else is experiencing this problem. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you, Joan
