Re: [disklavier] Re: What other manufacturers' discs (beyond Yamaha) are compatible with my Mark IV?

Piano Disc floppies or CD's do not play on a Disklavier.
There is a program available that converts Piandisc files to midi files that can be played on thre disklavier.
see http://www.giebler.com/
The program is a DOS program and may or may not work with Windows.
I have the program running under XP and have converted several PD floppies. It can be time consuming but works fine after you figure out how to use it.

I have not?found a way?to play PD cd's on a Disklavier.

I just bought a PianoDisc floppy "Piano Pleasures" PD9201 and it
won't play on my MarkIII. Shouldn't this floppy work in a
disklavier? When I insert the floppy in my PC, it says it is
unformatted (I don't know if that's what it should do or not). Any
ideas?

Thank you.
