If you're curious what kinds of weird and fun things you can do when you hook up your Disklavier to a computer, you might enjoy this video I uploaded:

As I play each note, the MIDI out gets routed to a computer sequencer, running a delay octave MIDI effect, with its MIDI out routed back into the Yamaha Disklavier. This causes every keypress to be duplicated down several octaves, with delays between each note. I used Cakewalk Pro Audio 9 with one of its built-in MIDI effects, but I'm sure most decent sequencers will be able to do this and other fun things.

Very nice David.
Something like it was used by Robert Fripp with a
tape loop between two reel-to-reel tape
recorders connected together. He calls it Frippertronics.
