Disklavier

That isn't the issue...

The Mark IV does have an analog audio input ("OMNI IN") which will happily amplify and play anything that you send to it.  They are referring to the fact that the piano itself can't understand and play mp3 files.

Does the Mark 4 have an "Analog" MIDI input similar to the Pianodisc? I don't have much good to say about the Pianodisc but it does have an input for audio MIDI and you can play MP3 to this input as well as WAV.
