If you can put wav into an audio port and play MIDI this way, it should also work with MP3 if the DKV is not strangely fussy about audio quality and the MP3 quality level is high enough. I know I can do this with the Stahnke LX and with my PianoDisc. Just never tried on the DKV.
I also make custom CDs with wav files on them, from a shopping cart that I just launched. it is at www.spencerserolls.com can make then if DKV PD Pianomation formats and will soon be making them for the LX which I will own soon.
