Hi,

The Mark IV does have a digital audio output, but this is RCA phono, not optical. There is no digital audio input. With regard to analog MIDI, I haven't tried it myself, but since the Disklavier MkIII accepts analog MIDI via the audio input, I would expect that the Omni In (or possibly Synch In) on the MkIV will do the same (If you do a search, there are several threads about running analog MIDI into a Disklavier)
