Hello:
We purchased a Yamaha Silent
Disklavier 48" Professional Upright in November 1997.
Its Model Number is MPX100IIXG.
To date we've been playing
PianoSoft floppies using its Control Unit: DKC500R.
These
are limited to piano and
orchestral pieces, no voice. We understand that the
newer
pianos can play both CD's with
voice and old PianoSoft floppies.
Does Yamaha make an updated
control unit that can play CD's through the
MPX100IIXG?
Ideally, it would be nice if one
could simply replace the DKC500R with a new unit that
could play both floppies and
CD's.
Any guidance on this issue would
be most appreciated.
