Disklavier

Ray, 

Tere is no way to upgrade to the MarkIV, short of trading in/selling your piano, and buying a MarkIV Disklavier.

I'm also fairly sure that the MarkIV still isn't available on uprights, but only on grands.

That being said, I think Michael may have been asking a different question.  He indicates that he wants to be able to play CDs in addition to floppies.  That type of upgrade is (was) available for some units, but I don't know enough about that to offer any more information.  Plenty of people on the list do, though, so I hope one of them responds to this, for Michael's sake.

Mike, I also have this same basic question with a DKC100XG on a small grand piano 
purchased in 2000.  I would like to upgrade the above to the new Mark IV type system, but 
honesty am a little confused after searching the web.

My unit actually plays 3.5" diskettes rather than floppies, but I assume thee are the same.
Sorry to clutter up you post, but it essentially the same question.  This was the reason I 
joined this group.
