Re: [disklavier] Re: Internet solution for connecting Disklavier Mark IV

David,

If you look at some of my comments on this forum from about June 2008, I had lots of problems with precisely that model of Linksys device. Even though I could use the device to wirelessly connect a PC with the Internet, it wouldn't reliably connect the DKVM4 with the Internet.

I switched to a Linksys WGA54G, and it worked immediately. I have had no problems since. Other people have had no issues with the WET54G, but I personally wasted soooo much time trying to figure out why I was having trouble that I almost want to kick myself for having waited so long to try the WGA54G.

Let us know what happens. Your DKVM4 definitely can wirelessly connect flawlessly with the Internet.

So I have ordered online the linksys wireless-g bridge WET54g version
3. I configured it with me PC when it was connected to the LAN.

I then plugged it in to the disklavier but I get the error message
that it does not see the IP address. Not sure how to link the tho to
get it to work . Any advice?
