Thanks for the interest. I haven't yet tried Joan's suggestion, and will have to see whether that works or not. The DKV is connected to my network by means of a wired ethernet connection between a remote Airport Express and the DKV. The new Airport Extreme (which is the 802.11n version) is also b and g compatible. I know that because AirPort Utility recognizes the three existing AE's in another part of the house, which are of the older b or g variety. I did reconfigure each of the AEs when I installed the new Airport Extreme. They are showing "green" and are recognized by the Airport network when I check it via Airport Utility. Regards. Is it through a remote Airport Express or hard wired to the Extreme base? If so, is the Airport Express "n" compatible, and, if not, did you set up the Extreme base station to be "802.11n, b and g compatible?" If using a previous Airport Express, did you reconfigure it to extend your new network? Jim
