Re: [disklavier] PRC-100 Won't Connect

2009-10-19 by Carol Beigel

First of all, unplug the Disklavier from the wall for 1 minute, then plug it
back in. While waiting, check the CF card type receiver under the piano to
make sure it is properly in place. Sometimes children or vacuum cleaners
can dislodge it. It may look all right, so just make sure it is straight in
the slot.

Most probably you are dealing with a battery that is not being charged in
the PRC-100. If you have been charging the unit in the cradle, try charging
it directly from the cable (the one that goes into the cradle). You should
see an orange light to indicate the unit is charging. Let it charge at
least 15 minutes before trying to connect to the piano. Also, remove the
battery from the PRC-100, then reinsert it before charging.

If the battery fails to charge, then you probably need a new one.
