Re: Virtual PRC and Mac Snow Leopard -- Not!

Success!

Thanks for all the moral support.

As it turns out, today, December 6, 2009, I was able to download, using Software Update, a new version of Java! This is "Java for Mac OS X 10.6 Update 1, Version 1.0", which I installed (this involves a reboot).

I clicked on the icon for the Disklavier in the Finder window, double clicked on "DNA", then right clicked on virtualprc.html and chose Safari to open the page (not Firefox, my default browser). As before, a script ran and nothing happened, except that a file "prcstart.php.jnlp" was created. You can find this file on your disk using Spotlight (CMND-spacebar). I doubled clicked on this and the Virtual PRC program started up, complete with the Virtual representation of the PRC. I tested it, and the disklavier started right up.

Again, my OS X version is 10.6.2 and I am communicating with the Disklavier using the wireless, Airport system.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Steve

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
