Why not use a USB to USB cable for your midi?  You can get a  USB type B - to USB type A (same as USB printer cables) much easier than the old 5 pin connectors to USB.  You get the exact same results.  Just change your midi settings from midi to USB in the midi section of the setup icon and it will be the same.  You will have to download a midi driver from Yamaha and install it on your computer - but you will get the same results without having to cram the 5 pin midi cables into the limited space around your I/O center of the Disklavier IV.  Where to get the Yamaha midi driver is the question I can't help you with at this time.  I'm sure others on this list can help with that.

Does anyone know where to find a USB - MIDI cable with a 90 degree angle on the MIDI end so I can fit it into my Disklavier IV?
