Disklavier

I am trying to get a handle on whether or not I can use my disklavier to do an actual record of the acoustic piano (using microphones inside piano, maybe?) and what will be the sound quality OR do I need to employ a sound studio to record my music?  I have tried recording music digitally and too much is lost from the acoustic sound my music requires.  Any and all suggestions are appreciated and welcome.  THank you in advance for your help
