You have several options.
1) load the floppys into the flash memory of the DKC-850
2) use RootARipper (software utility found at www.carolrpt.com) and copy
each floppy to a hard drive on your computer. Each floppy could have it's
own folder. Then use a disk burning software program and burn these folders
to data CD.
3) or copy these folders to a USB thumb drive
THE DKC-850 will read MIDI files or ESEQ or .FIL files copied to the root
directory or one level down (folder). Make sure nothing else is on the CD
or the thumb drive.
Depending upon how much music you have, and the flash drive is only 4 M(?),
you could organize your music into folders then burn them to CD or USB thumb
drive. You could have a CD for jazz, another for Mozart, another for
showtunes, etc.

If you get your old recordings onto your computer, you can transfer them over your local area network to the DKC-850. The DKC-850 has an ethernet port than enables it to join your local network.
