Disklavier

I purchase a cable to link by laptop using a USB to my disklavier Mark II.  I pluged in the cable and floolowed the instruction the the disklavier manual and nothing happened.  The song file was open on the computer and I played the song several times.  I tied the host setting and both P1 and P2 on the back of the disklavier comptroller.

Not sure what to do next.  The floppy disks work just fine but I would like to use the laptop.  the Laptop is a Toshiba with vista as the operation system.

Any one have a suggestion to solve my problem.
