If you are still having trouble, convert the MIDI files on the internet to MIDI format 0 files. Put only MIDI 0 files on a disk. Although my literature says that piano will play MIDI 1 files on HD disks, I am not sure I ever got that to work. But MIDI 0 does work. The other thing that will always work, is to convert the files you find on the internet to ESEQ files (the convert program in the DKV utilities) and put them on Yamaha formatted disks using the DD (one hole, old style) diskettes.
