There has been a hardware fix to correct reboot problems, one since 2006, one since January 2008. There are 2 circuit boards in the I/O Centre which may need to be changed. This applies to pianos earlier than serial number 6154000. If your piano is later than this, but earlier than 6204281, only one board would need to be changed. (this is assuming that there isn't an underlying fault unrelated to the issues addressed by these modifications). As far as locking up goes, update the piano to the latest version of software and don't forget to do the "Recall Demo Album" procedure after you have finished the "Interface Updater".
